One day I was riding on my bike in the woods, when  suddenly my bike tripped over a tree stump and crashed into a near by tree. I fell off and hit my head on an old and mossy rock. I slowly shut my eyes.

When I woke up I looked around the forest, the trees looked like they had grown. I looked up and so my bike it was stuck in a tree trunk!

“I can’t have been asleep for that long, its impossible!” I thought.

I stood up and ran as fast as I could go to my house but my house wasn’t there. What was I going to do?!

One day, I was at the fencing centre when in the third corridor, I suddenly saw an unfamiliar door. I wondered what was behind the door, so I had a peak.

Through the keyhole, I heard two men chatting about the centre.

 

What were they talking about? From the refreshment tray, I grabbed a glass cup to listen to their conversation. They were talking about the fencing centre being closed down. I gasped, the glass fell.

Smash!

I ran as fast as I could but then I heard a man shout

”Stop!”

Making me jump like a Kangaroo, what have I done?

”Mum! Can we go to the bike park?”

Mum was busy with the washing but replied, “Yes, go and get your bike from the cellar”.

The cellar was dark and smelled of damp. I clicked on the light and headed down the steps. As I moved my bike I noticed there was a gap in the wall. I brushed away the dust and could see there was a door. I wondered what was behind the door so I put my fingers in the gap and prized it open. A bright light was shining in my eyes so I could barely see. I stepped forward and felt a hand on my arm…

I always remember going to stay at the same cottage for our summer holidays when I was little. I would spent most of my time exploring the forest. There was one tree that always caught my eyes which had a door, I wondered what was behind the door but was never brave enough to open it. So now a holiday with my own kids at the same place I decided to actually open the door. I could just about squeeze into the door and after a very long crawl it lead me to another door to open and to my amazement I was standing in front of my own house.
