As I nervously walked towards the terrifying house that had been transformed into a haunted house my heart skipped a beat. Suddenly my friend jumped out of nowhere wearing a skeleton costume and an awful mask. She said quietly, “Why do we have to meet here?” To stop her asking any more difficult questions, I simply said in a grumpy manner, “Because I said so!”
We continued to walk along the scary path towards the creepy house which was lit by the light from the full moon. As we approached the old, wooden door it creaked open and there to her surprise there was her family and they all shouted, “Happy Halloween!”

It was dark and it was time to knock on some doors and get some sweets! Yayyy!!!
“Here’s Sienna” Mum called.
I was dressed as a scary clown with a big fake knife, Sienna was a murdered zombie princess, with her neck dripping with blood. This was going to be epic.
”Come on Brian!” My dog Brian was dressed as a superhero in a cape with bulging muscles.
“You knock first Sienna” I said.
“Why should I, I’m scared!” She replied.
”Because I said so!” I said in a spooky voice.
Sienna knocked on the door, it creeked open and….

MY AUTUMN POEM
It’s now Autumn, the best season
And I’m going out for the best reason
All the children come out to play
While birds come out to collect the hey
The leaves come in different colours, red, orange and even brown
But all the trees feel lonely and down
Tiny insects that hide beneath the leaves
Squirrels that scurry nuts to their trees
All getting ready for a long cosy sleep
In a dark wintery night not a sound of any creep
Little children collecting conkers
Parents shouting, “Don’t go all bonkers”
I asked, why we have to go?
Mum said, “It’s cold! and because I said so.”

It was a dark and stormy night. My mum was in the kitchen doing the dishes while my brother and I were watching Bob the builder and eating supper. We then started playing with toys, my brother and I ended up fighting over our favourite toys.
” Go to bed now ” shouted Mum
”Why are we going to bed, Mum”?
”Because I said so”,replied Mum.
When Dad got home he was fuming when Mum told him what had happened .Then the arguing started again Dad shouted ”Go to sleep”!
”No I am not going to bed”, said Jim
” Well then sleep outside ”, said Dad
”No I want to sleep in bed”,replied Jim

I woke up in the sunny morning from dreaming about video games. I checked the bottom bunk and saw my younger brother wasn’t in bed. Oh no, he woke up earlier than me!
I raced down stairs wanting to play on “Forza Horizon 4”. I scanned around the living room and saw him hiding behind the sofa.
“Get off MY Xbox now!”, I yelled.
“No! Why? You always go on the Xbox”, he yelled back at me.
“Because I said so,” I snapped. He didn’t do it, so I snatched it off him.(The simple solution.)
I watched him tell mum, “brilliant,” I thought to myself. He came back dragging her by the arm.
“Give it back!”, she commanded, “lately you have been the Xbox far too much”, she added. I gave the controller to my brother like mum said and stormed off to my room.
